Flavia V. McCaughey is the Vice President of FR Investment Group, guiding her clients to build long-term financial wealth through every stage of life. She earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Minor in History from Boston University in 2020. With a passion for business and strategic thinking, Flavia started her career at FR Investment Group in 2015 as an administrative assistant. She rapidly progressed to Managing Director and shortly after increased her responsibilities by stepping into her current leadership role.
Flavia is credentialed with Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed to serve clients nationwide. Additionally, she holds life and health insurance licenses, Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Beyond this, she serves as Delegate Principal and sits on the Firm’s Investment Committee.
In addition to these accolades, Flavia plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of FR Investment Group. She co-founded the internship program in 2017, along with the financial literacy program, “Empower Financial Literacy.” The program has received industry recognition in Business West and a Massachusetts State Senate Citation recognizing how it has empowered individuals to understand their finances and educate the community. She is currently engaged in numerous community initiatives such as helping small business owners, families, and individuals navigate the challenges of retirement planning, risk management, and how to optimize their finances. She is also an active member of the Charles River Chamber and the Corridor 9/495 Chamber, connecting with businesses in the community and guiding their financial decisions. Flavia is a leading voice for women in finance and equipping them with the tools to succeed. Previously, she has been a panelist for the Pioneer Valley Conference for Women, a guest speaker on the podcast, Women Finding Clarity, an advocate for Dress for Success of Western Massachusetts, and interviewed by Pawsitively 4 Pink to discuss steps women can take when battling cancer to prevent financial overwhelm. Her work reflects a dedicated commitment to helping those in the community and being a resource for those around her.
Alongside this, she remains an engaged alumna of Delta Delta Delta and is a founding member of the Boston University Women’s Leadership Council. She is also a proud member of the Union Club, Worcester Country Club, Boston University 1839 Society, and Coughlin Society. She operates offices in South Windsor, CT, Springfield, MA, and Newton, MA.
