Flavia V. McCaughey, CLTC, CDFA, is the Vice President of FR Investment Group. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in History from Boston University in 2020. Flavia began her career at the firm in 2015 as an administrative assistant and through dedication and a strong work ethic, quickly advanced to Managing Director before stepping into her current leadership role.

Flavia holds Series 7, 66, and 24 securities registrations through LPL Financial and is licensed to serve clients in AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TX, VA, and  VT. She also holds life and health insurance licenses, the AHIP Medicare Certification, the Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC) designation, and is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA). Within the firm, Flavia is known for her thoughtful leadership and knack for simplifying complex ideas. She contributes to the firm’s strategic direction as a member of the Investment Committee and serves as Delegate Principal. 

A key contributor to FR Investment Group’s culture and growth, Flavia co-founded the firm’s internship program in 2017 and continues to oversee its development. She also helped create and lead the “Empower Financial Literacy” initiative, launched in 2020 to bring accessible financial education to inner-city communities. The program has received significant recognition, including coverage in Business West and a Massachusetts State Senate Citation honoring its impact. Flavia frequently shares her insights through speaking engagements, podcasts, and published articles focused on financial wellness and holistic advising.

Flavia is also committed to community engagement. She served on the Finance Committee of the YWCA of Western Massachusetts for two years and has been a member of the Springfield Rotary Club. She is a former member of Boston Business Women, where she previously served as the Chapter Leader for the Central Massachusetts Chapter. Additionally, she remains an engaged alumna of Delta Delta Delta and is a founding member of the Boston University Women’s Leadership Council, as well as a proud member of the Boston University 1839 Society.
